“Hydro-Box™”
Advanced Fuel Cell System
Marine Series
Hydro-BoxAdvanced Fuel Cell Systems are the most efficient and produce the highest quality
of hydroxy gas in the industry, manufactured exclusively for
Global Marine Consulting, Inc by Central
Valley HHO
. We have set the maritime standards for on-board hydrogen fuel production systems and
installation that go above and beyond any currently published standards or regulation by any
governing body or maritime organization such as ABYC, USCG, BV, CE, and PVA, to mention a few.
System installation and service is provided worldwide by our certified technicians and authorized
installers.
ABOUT OUR SYSTEMS

  • Hydro-Box Marine Series I: Up to 12 liters in size. Small boat engines and generators
  • Hydro-Box Marine Series II: Use this system on engines 12 to 24 liters

National Fisherman: Micheal Crowley explores On-Board Hydrogen. The soot count has also dropped
on oil samples from the genset. Schenck sends an oil sample to a lab every third oil change, which is
very 600 hours. “The viscosity is right where it’s supposed to be. All the additives are there, and the
soot level is at 0.1,” he says. There used to be a big black area on the side of the boat where the
exhaust came out. “Now it’s white,” Schenck notes. It’s the reduced fuel consumption for both the
main engine and the genset that impresses most people. Schenck says, “If you go by the factory
specs for fuel consumption and rpm, I’m using between 40 and 46 percent less fuel than before.”
The combination of “Hydro-Box , “BlueFlow
Americas"
, and Central Valley HHO technologies has
created the most powerful fuel efficiency system
available. With direct fuel consumption measurement,
data acquisition, statistical analysis, online "Fuel
Services" management , and supplement fuel injection
Hydro-Box will completely change the way vessels
operate.

Consistent real time fuel consumption, power/torque
measurement, and data collection display indicate the
highest possible fuel efficiency producing the lowest
amount of fuel burn. With the combination of top of the
line flow meters, an easy to read user interface and
reporting tools you will be on top of your fuel
consumption whether you are the captain of a ship or
owner of a whole fleet.

Even the most experienced captains with more than 30
years on the helm suddenly and without any doubt start
to change the way they’re handling their vessels. And
with the help of
“Fuel Services” and the ease to creating
reports you don’t only have instantaneous fuel usage but
also consumption over a period of time. By saving money
on fuel we are also saving the environment so it is a win-
win situation. This is an actual day report from a fishing
trawler. The complete day at sea is in graph and report
form allowing the captain to analyze exactly where and
how he is using fuel. This data provides all the
information needed to improve the vessel’s overall
efficiency and fuel expense.
Hydro-Box Marine Series System Benefits:
  • Improve Diesel Fuel Combustion
  • Increased Fuel Efficiency
  • Reduced Exhaust Emissions
  • Reduced Soot in Engine Lube Oil
  • Smoother Running Engines
  • Longer Engine Life
  • Reduced Maintenance and Repair Costs
  • Added Environmental Responsibility

Hydro-Box Marine Series Features:
  • Wiring meets or exceeds ABYC – E11 Electrical Standards.
  • Electrical components and production cells are ignition protected.
  • Electrical protection from accidental cross connections
  • Stainless Steel clamps on all hose fitting connections
  • Hose and connections meet or exceeds USCG Fuel Hose Standards
  • Flashback arrestors installed in all hydroxy supply lines near the engine induction point
  • No hydroxy gas is stored under pressure, all gas produced is used directly upon production
  • Safety relief valve, vented to outside of hull, installed to insure no pressure build-up in the
unlikely event of hydroxy supply line being blocked.
  • Two safety features to prevent hydrogen production when the engine is not running. All of the
following condition must be met before the Hydro-Box unit in energized.
         1) The ignition switch must be in the "run" position.
         2) Engine oil pressure must be above 10 psi. with automatic system shutdown when engine
              stops
  • At the time of shutdown, there is approximately three liters of hydroxy gas in the entire system
(per engine). As hydrogen is the smallest and lightest of all elements, this will completely
    dissipate very quickly.
  • All hydroxy gas and liquid electrolyte is carried within polyester reinforced PVC hose with a
maximum pressure rating of 275-350 psi and meets FDA Specification #CFR21 170-199.
  • Automatic system shutdown if water reserve tank level falls to empty
  • Automatic system shutdown in the event system is overfilled and water fills the hydroxy
collectortank. This feature ensures water is not ingested by engine.
  • Both Hydro-Box Marine Series I and II systems are assembled in robust non-corrosive
    fiberglass reinforced boxes that measure 35” x 19” x 12”.
  • Systems are designed for minimal maintenance and ease of use
  • Unique cell design uses 60% less electrolyte than competitive systems
  • Proprietary cell design eliminates any leak potential
  • Proprietary water/gas collector eliminates need for traditional inconvenient 'bubbler" unit

Hydro-Box Marine Series Advantages:
  • High quality hydroxy gas for maximum performance
  • Low amperage to gas production ratio
  • Proven Fuel Cell guaranteed continuous leak free operation
  • Real time fuel consumption data and monitoring
  • Closely follow trends and costs over your fleet or separate vessels
  • Easy to read user interface and reporting tools
  • Easily adjusted hydroxy production levels
  • Fast Return-On- Investment
  • Drastically lower Carbon Footprint
  • “Green Vessel” advantage over
